Why the TCAP Professional Panel?

As our population ages, the need for caregiving products and services is expected to grow in the areas such as incontinence, impaired mobility, nutrition, respiratory care, skin care and wound care along with financial and legal concerns.

The purpose of the TCAP Professional Panel is to assemble a large body of knowledge from professionals to advise health care manufacturers and service providers as well as policy makers, about their needs, wants and opinions. Unlike one individual survey, a dedicated panel of professionals provides an ongoing resource of knowledge, insight and wisdom.

When a professional enrolls, we ask certain basic information. Then, as research and answers to questions are needed, there will be other opportunities to participate based on each unique situation. For example, an occupational therapist, would not be asked to complete a survey about nursing care for the home bound.

Surveys will use self-administered mail questionnaires (with postage paid reply envelopes provided), telephone interviews, and on-line surveys for Professional Panel members who wish to participate over the internet. Participation in all surveys and products evaluation is voluntary and free.
